Where the wedding and the reception were on Sat. I believe it's called the Northerlights ballroom. the pics dont' show the beautiful color at the top of the domed ceiling. The panels are stained glass, too bad they don't have it illuminated at night from the outside. Not great pics, I just had my tiny little camera! lol

The roof has a sort of "glow" to it. You can see the slabs of sandstone lying in the foreground that have fallen from the roof. This dwelling is perched on the side of a canyon cliff. The swirling patterns in the rocks hold your feet securely to the swicthback ascent. A few cairns mark the foot path. It's not a well known site. (didn't see anyone all day and the sign-in book showed an entry the prior month) Grinding stones found at the site, left behind by their previous owners.

Your grandson looks wonderful. That will be a picture you cherish. Oscar the cat. It takes a little effort to learn to post, but once you've learned, it's something you'll enjoy. the garden/back yard is actually very small. Just in an older neighborhood, with the average size small back yard. I just enjoyed taking all those different shots, cause I knew, I could share them here. Chris has just about one of EVERYTHING in there... but right now, it is kinda empty, cause all those potted plants are in the house, green house and the garage. You can't hardly walk through their house till next spring. :) Moni
