I love your inspiration photo...so pretty. So you like green....I think Baby Turtle is BM paint, and there's another one that's popular, I think Soft Fern? Why don't you post on the main board, specificly to Redbezel, who has used both colors.

funcolors - I am honored that you stopped in to read this but I know the title of thread is eye-catching. ;) The last time I was in there, they were more helpful but today, it was like talking to the folks at Lowe's (which is hit or miss - I very occasionally get someone who loves to talk color - well, once). I am looking forward to seeing the colors I choose, too. LOL julie - thanks for the color suggestion. I think it's just a little too warm for the cool palette we're going with in these rooms. bkw - good call on tying the rooms together with accents. DH does not like the midnight navy at all for the room saying it's already a darkish room (faces east with morning sun until about 11am). However, the dining room gets southern light so the living room draws light from there. I think I just might consider doing that Silver Satin and find blue/coral accent pillows, etc...to bring that blue I really like. I've not yet done anything in the LR but started to paint a wall in the DR the Dark Salmon. I really like it as does DH. Right now, the DR is in a shambles as it serves as the kids' playroom. Will look at Hale Navy, thanks. Yes...must agree - pain in paint! BTW, BKW - he loves the Slip in your DD's room and actually likes it for our master.

Without seeing the floors, it’s very hard to say, but somewhere in this post you can see my wood look tiles in my bathroom which are gray and it looks awesome. I would recommend getting a sample and putting it up in the basement. Since I assume there is very little natural light, the tone will largely depend on your lighting. If your flooring has a warm gray tone to it, it will probably look great. If it has a bluish cool gray tone to it, you’d have to see how it looks side by side. Hope this helps a little! It might be, aes107. Bring home a paint chip and you'll see right away. May I suggest you try whatever colours you're considering on boards in different light to figure out what suits you best? I really like the idea of a warm white for a nursery. One of the prettiest nurseries I've ever seen was a white one posted here.
