I had 2 that looked dead as could be. I went to shovel one out and noticed the new growth and I am surprised how quickly they take off. What’s weird is that my wife’s apricot and cream hybrid tea stayed green the entire winter and the canes were small in width. My climber had thick canes and when I unwrapped it, the canes were black all the way down to about 3” off the ground. If your in Michigan or around it I think we got to -25 a couple of times. It was crazy cold this last winter.

Darn JB's... I usually see 5-6 JB'S per year but this year was a bit higher at about 40+ but that's still not that bad....Wonder what next year brings though...

Tracy, I think that Mills Magic is missing a great advertising opportunity by not using your pictures for advertising. Because of your success with such a bounty , that is what I will be trying. Your Quicksilvet is absolutely glorious. I never got that many blooms all season Well done ! I used to live in Mountlake Terrace and loved the climate. I had no idea that it was such a great area for roses.
