Installing new Kitchenaid induction Range

I will be having the kitchenaid induction range delivered on Wednesday and the electrician coming Tuesday. I wondered if any of you, who already have your kitchenaid range, have any installation advice for me. The countertop guy keeps asking me if I am sure that I don't need some countertop strip behind the range. I wonder where that thick appliance cord goes and whether it pushes the range out. I am aware of the 4 prong outlet and am sending the specs to the electrician ahead of time. Does this range push flush against the back wall? Thank so much. I have been following all induction range comments on this forum and it has been very helpful. It has taken me a long time to figure out what I wanted and I sure hope that this will be "the one".
