Treating the tile backslash feature as a rotating work of art?

We are finishing up our kitchen remodeling and will be doing the tiling soon. We are going to do something like this https://www.houzz.com/photos/historic-whole-house-renovation-chefs-kitchen-craftsman-kitchen-atlanta-phvw-vp~3849298 where we have a framed feature in the backsplash. We almost want to treat it like a work of art, a framed picture. Has anyone done this or is there any way, to make that section of backsplash easily changeable? Maybe some magnets in the wall and the tile mounted to a thin sheet of metal? Or maybe the edges are screwed in and the then tiled over and when you want to remove it, you just remove the 4 edge tiles and unscrew and put the next one on?

I know, it sounds a little crazy, but it would be refreshing and fun to mix it up.
