That is a common weed here in central Texas but don't know the name nor if it is toxic. With all the rain we had, it's popping up everywhere.

My friend might have to drop it by the Ag office to get it identified. I know I've seen it to, but no idea as to it's identification. Thanks guys!

I'm in Temple, too, but haven't seen this in my new yard or the old one. Does kind of look like a weed. Is is planted in focal places to indicate it's maybe something special? or do you see it just along fences and out-of-the-way places that might indicate weed?

From what my friend said, it's all over Morgan's Point. That was a clue to me that it's an invasive weed.
