Need help increasing curb appeal!
Comments (7)I think you can be much bolder than the ideas given so far. When you say Texas, I think dry... I envision great sweeps of grasses and their companions to set the house (and trees) in a prairie or meadow. I would screen the view of the street or driveway on the left and the house or garage on the right. The door seems narrow relative to the low-slung house, so perhaps there is a way to give it a virtual frame with container plants on either side. I'm sorry I don't have a facility with graphics to show you better what I mean....See MoreWhat can I do to increase curb appeal of my house?
Comments (11)The teal looks great with the siding color! I would paint the storm door to match, to make it stand out more. Beefing up the columns is an excellent idea also. I don't think shutters are quite right, and not cedar, but if it is possible I would add beefier trim around the windows and do consider a darker color on the trim, perhaps a darker shade of the siding color. If it were my house I would also paint the visible foundation to match the house, and do the tiered gardens on the slope as suggested....See MoreIdeas for roof shingle color and deck design to increase curb appeal?
Comments (4)A DECK needs A PERMIT AS WELL. Your photos wont allow anyone to advise anything. Wait until you OWN the house, and get on site help. This isn't the forum for the question at the moment. Not everything can be designed online. Nor SHOULD it. A landscape/hardscape PRO on site. If altering roof lines? You need an architect on site. Anything else is "wind spitting".......or a thousand meaningless suggestions that suit not budget or site. Don't put a buggy ahead of your horse: )...See MoreNeed to update this 90s exterior and increase the curb appeal! Help!
Comments (8)I don't know the purpose of that arch. It was originally designed that way, and yet nothing goes there. There is an inset shower window but up under there, so maybe the thought was to hide it from the curb. But, I had not considered actually putting something there - a fountain or something sculptural would be quite lovely there. And, I am thinking about a single door with sidelights too. I was just looking a pictures of a house with a wood and glass door, and maybe doing wood on the garage to complement it, though not sure about adding wood to the facade....See Morelittlebug zone 5 Missouri
