Forgot to add the only feature that I would prefer on the dryer is one with intermittent reversing action. Wasn't available back when I purchased my machines, but I would go to some effort to get one with it now. (At least I think so!) Also, isn't ASKO one of the few brands left with 220V washing machines? That is really important, IMO. And since you'll need 220V for the electric condenser dryer it won't add to your installation cost (washer and dryer can be interconnected needing only one wall outlet) and it will provide far superior cleaning. ASKO machines also need only cold water supply as they heat their own water. If it was a necessary choice, 220V washers would trump reverse tumble drying, at least for me. How's that for inconsistency? HTH, L.

There are not many ventless dryer users on this forum and I bet very few, if any, have an Asko. It might be a good idea to check on the Asko web site for the dryer user's manual, if you don't have one. Or call their customer support number.

I've owned all 3: Asko, Bosch and Miele. My order of preference for performance is: Miele Bosch Asko If you need a slightly larger tub or cost is an issue Bosch Miele Asko The high wash temperature on the Asko is a selling point but much less relevant when you get it home. Miele's 165F is sufficiently hot for super effective stain removal. Bosch's hot water isn't as hot as Miele or Asko. For general laundry Bosch does a great job. If you are concerned with whites -- i.e. whitening old linens, stain removal then Miele and Asko have the long profile wash (cold prewash + super hot wash) for that. Miele has the best woolens cycle by far and the most cycle options but comes with a learning curve. I preferred the Bosch condenser dryer to both the Miele or Asko vented dryers.

Asko ventless dryer T753C is gathering water in the condenser area, and water is coming onto the floor in the front and right side of machine. This is a stackable w/dryer unit. I've had it dor 21/2 years, and the problem began early March of 2015 .the condenser is cleaned monthly. The 1st repairman found lint in the machine, and for a short while,the problem seemed to be solved. A second repair person said the drain hose was too long, and made it shorter. Made no sense to me. He put a wet bath towel in to test machine. After he was gone, and the towel was dry, I pulled the condenser out. It was sitting in water, and water went onto floor and wet my pants leg, when I removed the condenser. He will be returning on Monday, but I'm concerned, because at this point he seems to be guessing, B T W, both repairmen were Asko trained and certified. HELP !
