OJ and others with prostate cancer.........question please

Hubby has an app't in 2 weeks for his 6-month checkup with his cancer doc. 3 years ago he got his prostate removed, and now we're watching his PSA levels. With no prostate, his PSA levels in an ideal world would be 0.

His last checkup, his PSA was 0.03 (good). He got his blood work done this week and the results are sent to the doc in preparation for our visit. The clinic now offers clients to see the results online. (I would not do this, and I was wishing hubby didn't look into it.).

His levels rose to .5 so quite a jump. If I remember, the doc said that if it hits .6, radiation is required. So needless to say, hubby is now depressed.

My question is does anyone remember what the numbers were when you did radiation? Is .5 all that high?
