Picking a ceiling color with BM Gray Owl walls & Simply White trim

I've recently stripped decades-old wallpaper off the walls of my entryway and primed. I plan to paint the walls Ben Moore Gray Owl, with the trim and wainscoting in Simply White. These colors will continue up the stairs into the upstairs hallway. Since I need to paint the ceiling first, I am trying to decide on a ceiling shade asap. Should I go with Simply White flat or something more interesting such as Gray Owl at 25% or another color entirely? Would Edgecomb Gray look weird with Gray Owl? (Please ignore the mess in the photo and the boring light fixture. That will be replaced.)

The living room is right off of the entryway, and currently bright red due to the previous owner, but it and much of the downstairs will be painted Edgecomb Gray. I love the idea of adding a little color to the ceilings since I intend to stick with Edgecomb Gray, Gray Owl, and otherlight/neutral grayish shades throughout the house. Any suggestions would be very welcome!
