What are the main fungal issues where you are and now bad are they usually? Bouche is the more vigorous of the three and the one most likely to experience black spot and mildew issues where they are bad. KA Viktoria is the next most vigorous of the three and more often mildews than black spots. Stevens is the more "spindly" of the group, in my experience.

I can't speak for disease issues. MJB is an excellent rose here, tough, graceful, and floriferous, with beautiful Tea-scented blooms and overall considerable Tea character. I don't know KAV and only have the climbing form of MHS.

Roseseek, as for diseases, I only have one rose inherited with the house that shows BS. I have only seen a touch of PM on iceberg.

Melissa, how big is cl MHS?

Mine is a scraggly plant, but it's not growing in conditions that allow it to show itself off; it's swamped by 'Souv. de Mme. Leonie Viennot', among other things. I would say 3m/10ft maximum height would be likely. The flowers are lovely. I would certainly enjoy having another plant of it growing in more favorable conditions.

I would second Melissa on MJB, here she's glorious. She stands along my front fence enticing passersby with her fragrance & large blooms. I've had her 6 yrs & she occasionally gets a BS leaf but I just pluck them off & she continues to thrive. She's about 6ft tall & 5' wide, blooms forever, in case you can't tell I am smitten.

I had the climbing form of KAV. The flowers were gorgeous and had a beautiful scent. The plant ended up with crown gall, so I pulled it. :(

Of the 3, K.A.V. has the least disease resistance where I live near San Francisco, Ca but it still is rarely affected by anything but a bit of blackspot. It is very pretty. I don't adore the scent but then no one has to smell a rose.

Mme. Jules Bouche, has bare lower limbs, and needs regular fertilizing for the blooms to be large and shapely otherwise my plant produces a large number of small and somewhat shapeless blooms. Very nice fragrance. I've found it roots easily from cuttings. At its' best it is sublime. One of the great white roses, F.K.D. cannot hold a flame to it. (Oh dear, that abbreviation appears a bit vulgar)

Mrs. Herbert Stevens. I'm very fond of this rose, the climbing form can be grown as a large self -standing shrub of c. 8 ' by 8' and it blooms here nearly as often as the Tea roses, starting just after M.A.C. begins in February or March, and blooms frequently through mid-December. I like its' type of fragrance best of all the 3. A little p.m. occasionally but nothing that I can't ignore.

I'd choose Mrs. Herbert Stevens of all the 3, but I'd miss Mm.e Jules Bouche if I didn't have her. K.A.V. is too strongly an H.T. for my Tea rose longings, I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered it , swept away by reports of it being very fragrant, when I don't like its type of scent which reminds me of the type of scent that very old perfume leaves in the bottom of a old purse of a very old lady.
