Why raspberry fruits growing bigger than usual?

The fruits of my raspberry plants are growing larger than usual. The summer crop had small raspberry fruits, but the one for fall has bigger berries.

The only changes I made: mulching with Starbucks' used coffee grounds and giving them acidified water.

In early August, I mulched the plants with a decent amount of UCG (mixed with cedar mulch).

I've also been watering with sulfuric acid (ph about 4) twice or once a week since maybe mid-August. One thing I've noticed is that no matter how much I water them with sulfuric acid, there is little difference in the soil ph for some reason. It's almost always at around 7. Sometimes 6.5, but it then goes back to 7.

I'm curious to know what caused the plants to put out bigger berries. Is it due to the UCG or acidic watering? Even if the soil ph hasn't changed much, I still think it's possible that it is having a temporary positive effect on the plants.
