Help with where to put TV/Room layout pls

How would you arrange furniture for this room. It is 14' 8" wide.

7 years agolast modified: 7 years agosorry, electric slim line like sierra flame (6" i think). zero need for warmth at all.
We also do not need to maintain a walkway to the master bedroom door,
DH would like room for dog beds, 2 Beagle size.
That front door will not be used much at all.
Yes, 14'8 is measuring from window wall to kitchen wall.
I have seating for 6 - a 4 seater ekornes theater group, plus 2 stressless "swivel" chairs w/ottomans. The theater group can be broken into a loveseat and either a curved seater like below or two single chairs. It can be used or sold, it is all black, even the wood frames on the recliners are the black finish. They are all the high back with headrest.

I'm guessing it will block the view out your french doors and be too close to them. Comments (18)You could always design a TV cabinet about the size of a console table. Then put the TV inside with the ability to raise it up to the top of the console when in use. Arrange the room to fit the console where you so desire it. Comments (3)I like your proposed arrangement. Looks like you could add a t.v. on a swivel mount with a small console underneath to the right of the fireplace. As a general rule, the rug under the dining table should be 4 feet wider and 4 feet longer than the table, so it seems an 8x10 would best suit the table when fully extended....See MoreWhere to put living room TV?

I need to order a couch for my new living room and want to make sure I order one that isn’t too large for the space, yet seats three comfortably. The wall we are putting it on is roughly 120 inches from the corner to the door. The couch will sit under two windows that are 100 inches from end to end. Do you think an 88 inch couch, centered under the windows will not overwhelm? It will sit about three To four inches Above the window sill as well. Across the couch will sit two chairs (haven’t yet ordered or considered). I’ll place a large area rug on the floor. a TV stand will sit centered on the plain wall across from the stairs. Thoughts?
