HELP! What to do with sliced fresh peaches .....

The Alberta peaches from our tree are all ripe & I must do something with them! We are eating them every day but today I peeled a lot, took the pits out & sliced them. What can I add to them right now to keep them from getting brown... toss them (slices) with sugar... or? I plan on making a few cobblers to eat now but want to try freezing the rest in baggies.. but it has been years since I did this & don't remember how I froze them without them turning color, texture, etc. .... add sugar or ? before I freeze them, ...? Would really appreciate any ideas/help so I don't ruin these beautiful sliced peaches!

Few homes have basements here in he SW so canning & storage would not be an option for me freezing is the only one for me!
