Emergency! Need backsplash ideas for Verde Butterfly Granite
Comments (3)The cream, white, and light yellow colors that you're considering sound like they should all work well with that granite. What about a natural stone tile? Maybe a limestone? Something with a subtle texture and color variation. I love Verde Butterfly but it's quite lively with white/gray, red, and sometimes a bit of blue tone along with the green, so I wouldn't get too busy with backsplash, but that's jmho....See MorePicked the granite. Comments (15)Just found this thread (delicatus search). I just bought Delicatus Brown this past week. Busy granite!!! So, for my backsplash, I'm *hoping* to use Jeffrey Court Chapter 12 in French Creama (an off whitish/beigy color). I'm thinking of the 6x6's on a diagnol; and behind my sink area having an outline of box with an arched top and filled in with matching 1x1 glass tiles. Around this arched box (again, in the area above the sink) instead of the 6x6's, I want to use the 2x3 subway tiles in a brick pattern. So it will be done all in tone-on-tone but with the tile being the pattern, instead of different colors or borders. Anyway, I am going to wait too until I get the granite installed before purchasing the tile. If your kitchen backsplash is done, hoping you'll post pics. jody...See Moreneed backsplash ideas, Virginia Mist granite
Comments (23)I was just hunting for a light gray glass on another post - wonder if this would work for your kitchen - or maybe larger glass pieces but not the mosaic. How about this one? it is a gray blend tile - I think the variation might play out nicely in your kitchen. But it might be too much with that gorgeous floor. Comments (27)Thank you everyone! I'm so happy to have found this cream....after looking at so many different ones! Here is the info: From the sample board.... Manhatten Series MN11/B36 Cream 3X6 beveled edge Best yet, the price is just $4.68 per sq foot! Honestly, I've been looking at tiles that range from $6-$31 per square foot. To think that my very favorite is under $5 really amazes (and delights!) me! I can't wait to post photos of the finished project....right now I have to order more switchplate covers!...See Moreherbflavor
