I'll call this depression and optimism

A couple of photos to share. The first one was taken in the measles bed. There is a little praying mantis in this rose. She was hiding so you can't see her but trust me she's there. Obviously she could not decide on which camouflage to use given the state of the plant. So she used brown to match the dead leaves and she is spotted all over to match the anthracnose spots. I'll attempt to capture a photo again later.

I'm totally unsure if I can take another year of anthracnose again.

Thou all the roses in this bed are first year roses. Oh how I love it. Can hardly wait until it fills in.

At times it can be annoying. To gather the healthiest roses known and half of them are covered head to toe in anthracnose. Poor Savannah was so upset she cast all of her leaves to the ground. I have no black spot or mildew thou. Perhaps with a little age and a good root system things will be much better. :-)
