okbt It's medium height and the blooms are similar in size to Mary's Gold, Prairie Blue Eyes, Bela Lugosi. Heh, those are daylilies I know the names of in my patch. This mystery daylily is distinctive because it has 3 petals a darker pink than the rest of the petals.

Just a possible wee suggestion harold100 , for future reference ....this is something I do now because I have a number of daylilies that are unknown now thanks to a husband who mows the labels and dogs that steal the labels. When I plant a daylily I use vinyl blind pieces with the name written on in pencil ( pencil doesnt fade or erase completely ) I put one under the plant when I plant it and one buried at 3 o'clock when looking at the plant . That way if the main tag is destroyed I can still ID the plant . This was not my idea but I sure wish I had known about this when I started with daylilies.
