Worried about demolition damaging wallpaper

I am having new quartz counter tops installed in my kitchen (replacing the old formica counters). We just decided to also do a matching quartz windowsill. My kitchen window over my sink is not framed and has a deep 10" wood sill. I have wallpaper around the window with a border under the window sill along the edge of the 4" back splash. It's very pretty wallpaper and goes well with the colors in the quartz. I am not removing the wallpaper. So here's my concern. The guy that came to do measurements and offered the option to do the window sill said they can easily remove the old wood sill and put in the stone sill. After he left I got to thinking about how they can tear out the old window sill. Now I am worried that they will damage the wallpaper when they tear things out. So how do they do this without damaging the surrounding area?
