Any safety risk in using fresh dill instead of dill seeds?

Hello! I searched on here but never saw a straight answer. I understamd taste will be different woth fresh dill heads vs dill seed but are they safe? Last year I made this recipe from BHH for "Best Ever Fill Pickles" and subbed 1 to 2 dill heads in each jar instead of the seed.

3 to 3 1/4 pounds cucumbers

4 cups water

4 cups white vinegar

1/2 cup sugar

1/3 cup pickling salt

6 tbsp dill seeds

Is that ok? Every year i come up with something new to be paranoid about :)
