Anyone buy from Northland Rosarium?
Comments (13)I give them my thumbs up, also. Jardins de Bagatelle on its own roots... what a treat! They were very accomodating, and though the last order I placed with them was nearly 6 years ago now, I think the fact they're still in business is a good indication of this firm's high overall quality. They've updated the website, too, and apparently expanded the selection. Go with these guys if you're looking for own roots, though Roses Unlimited is still the very best in this business class if you ask me (just because they sent us our order before they received our check-- classy business that actually trusts its customers)....See MoreNorthland Rosarium
Comments (25)Yeah, I don't remember them being packed so hap-hazardly in the past. They were packed with some going up and some going down, with wads of newspaper stuffed in between, but not a whole lot of newspaper. They were not secured to the box. I can't remember if they do that or not. I know RU tapes and staples and really secures the plants in place. It's almost a nightmare to get them unpacked! LOL But... I'm not worried about the plants. They are fine. Whichever plant it came off of will recover....See MoreNorthland Rosarium sale/special of the week
Comments (8)Hi Holly. My friend Cristina, who lives close by, has Rock & Roll and in my opinion, it is the star of her garden. My garden is small, so I mostly grow climbers and miniatures and don't have room for it. Luckily for me, my friend cuts off blooms of Rock & Roll for me to take home, because she knows it is one of my favorites. The fragrance is wonderfully fruity. The stripes very with the weather with more red in hotter weather. You might call it a white rose with red stripes in the cooler parts of the season and a red rose with white stripes in the summer. Cristina also has Neil Diamond, the descendant of Rock & Roll. I prefer Rock & Roll, because Neil Diamond is a taller plant with all the blooms on top. I'm only 5'4" and need to jump to smell the blooms with Neil Diamond. Rock & Roll is just right....See MoreI caved... ordered from Northland Rosarium...
Comments (4)Beth I had Kiss Me and have been searching for it for like 4 years. I just love this rose and had originally planted it for my dog Rosie so was pretty happy to find it again at Northland. It blooms constantly and has a nice fragrance and nice shape to the shrub. My husband even commented that "that rose has been blooming all summer" which is like a sterling endorsement lol. I have Autumn Sunset but it was a band last year so too early to say but there are some nice reviews of it here. I have Soul Sister coming from Chamblees, couldn't pass it up! Kiss Me...See MoreRed Adrian B B
