Timing belt installation on a Honda HRT 216 push mower 5.5hp
Comments (7)Thanks I email him and ask. I always wondered how anyone could bend a crank by hitting something with the blade well now I'm one of them. I was in a rush, mowing as fast as that thing would go. I knew there is a stump at the tree line but on that unfortunate day, whamm. I did a bone head maneuver. Wide open and it stopped instantly! Talk about a sick feeling. So bought a crank $39 and two seals $10 and got to work. Just need to figure out where that mark is on the crank. For those of you wondering what I think of the mower(4 yrs old now). It has run excellent everytime, every year I've owned it. Starts first pull everytime, even after being winterized. It does surge a little if the temps are down in the 40's but goes away after 30-45 seconds when it warms up. No oil leaks, no burning oil. I never have had to add oil even after the whole summer has past. So I give it a thumbs up....See MoreHonda HRT216 Gear Change cable replacement
Comments (2)I have the same problem but am ignoring it for the time being. Here's a link to a parts diagram that may be helpful: http://hayward.arinet.com/scripts/EmpartISAPI.dll?MF&app=ASP&lang=EN&TF=Mainframe&LoginID=hywd&loginpwd=hywd&Partner=HYWD Under Catalogs choose 'American Honda' then somewhere under there should be a selection for your model based on serial number....See Morehrt216tda
Comments (0)I am curious if anyone could give me an idea of how hard it would be to replace the gear shift cable on a HRT216, I pulled the belt cover off and it doesn't look like a difficult task. But I thought I would ask anyway. I got this as a used mower and the gear shift lever is broken. If you could give me idea of the steps or a diagram it would be great. Once I replace it I also would like to know how I should adjust the cable. Also would this be a likely cause of why the mower won't roll backwards? Thanks in advance....See MoreNeed help and experience with older woman on HRT
Comments (2)Hello Garule, I have been on bio identical hormones for about 3 years now. I do not use the patch. I take oral progesterone and an estradiol creme. I weaned off of the testosterone as I felt it was doing little good. You are not alone! The only benefit I feel are reduced hot flahes, however having said that I still experience terrible symptoms. Extreme flushes of heat that last for what seems hours accompanied by gastric distress, headaches, mood swings, anxiety etc. Don't no why I bother with them at all! Blood tests come back showing "normal" hormone levels for a woman my age..55. There are days where I feel almost normal, but the hormones have provided little relief. I would swear I am suffering from an autoimmune disease considering how awful I usually feel. Sorry you are struggling as well. hoping there is a light at the end of this crazy tunnell!...See MoreIdaClaire
