Comments (5)Maybe, maybe not. I have the sab=me situation except with Armstrong cabinets. I have adjusted the left pair as far left as possible, and the right pair as far right as possible. It helped, but they still rub. The only solution I can see is to shave one of the doors about a 1/16 on both sides and then add a 1/16 spacer under the hinges. That would gain about an 1/8", which should take care of the problem. I can match the finish color with no problem. I will probably do this when the rubbing starts to cause unsightly damage....See MoreStrange design opportunity.
Comments (14)Oh, wow. I like the picture of the ratty kid on there too. Beautiful, dressed in Moldering Faded Raj Wear. Except the books ... you can't really do all those books in moldering fading raj land: too moldering. That company definitely deserves some sort of prize! But think how much could be saved in renovation costs if you just sprang for this furniture and left it as "before"?!...See MoreNeed advice on the slim space between sink and backsplash
Comments (4)If the space is only 1/4 inch, then it could be filled with caulk - just a bit more professional job:) You will still need to wipe the area. Everyone has to wipe around the faucet and back of the sink daily at least - it is just easier with undermount sinks or drop ins with a flat edge instead of what you have - my old sink was similar to yours. You may be able to turn your handle more over the sink - most can be rotated. That would help decrease the amount of water that drips to the back from wet hands on the handle. My handle can be where yours is, but I had the plumber bring it forward and to the left (the left is just my preference.)...See MoreVery strange bathroom design with rustic wood!
Comments (3)Maybe in a weekend cabin? I'm not sure, I'd like to see the entire space, more photos. What comes to mind though is lack of ease in cleaning. I see surfaces that could collect dust, spray products that don't really appear 'wipeable'......See Morelocaleater
