Having lived in a home for 20 years with that exact problem in the upstairs master bedroom, I have a deep appreciation for the negatives "before" and the "after" positives!

My parents built an A-frame in Kansas 40 years ago! It had a beautiful stone fireplace, but they only lived in it for a few years before deciding to sell it and move to Texas, away from the cold winters. As I remember, it was very hard to heat & cool.
