Anyone else getting rain?
Comments (6)I dont know if I would call it rain, but we did have some water drops fall from the sky. Just enough to mix with the dust and form mud on the windows. Hit our house around 7ish. Lasted just a few minutes, I'll take it though. -Ethan...See MoreAnybody else get pelted by hail yesterday?
Comments (11)Thank you Skybird for the encouragement and kind words. I took your advice as the sky is looking quite dark and suspicious in this cooler weather so I dragged out the other plastic lawn chairs to tent over all that I could. And you're right the rain was the best part. We have had several good rains in the past few weeks. I put out some large buckets to catch the rain and they were filled to the brim. Trees look happy and the lawn which I refuse to water more than once a week is looking like it may come back to life. Steve, I checked out Ben's link you attached and I did not get it as bad as he did. Poor guy. We work so hard and then to have that happen is a bummer. Great life lessons in patience I say (whether we like it or not). Charlene...See MoreAnybody else tired of rain?!
Comments (4)I'm not complaining yet because it is technically spring and at least I don't have to waste my time watering the gardens! :p I hadn't heard that we've set record amounts of rain. I don't even have all my veggie garden planted yet and haven't been outdoors enough to see the iris and peonies and poppies and everything else that's wet, mushy, and laying on the ground. :( There's only 20% chance of rain today, so hopefully I will be able to cut a decent bouquet from what's left out there. :) This is reminding me of the summer of 2000. It rained *constantly* that spring/summer and on the rare days it didn't rain I had to struggle to try to mow the long wet grass! I'll be doing that later today. :O)...See MoreAnybody else getting Virus Alerts here?
Comments (21)Someone posted about it on the free help forum at AVG and they have the same problem in GW's kitchen & bath forum and WeUseCoupons.com also! It's probably site-wide here at GW since I had the same problem in the Vegetables forum this morning. I thought I had it fixed but rebooted and it's back again, even after setting Resident Shield to "Remove all threats automatically." I just now looked and "Remove all threats automatically" was UNCHECKED! It could have reset to the default after the tray icon crashed... maybe. When I clicked the Preview button here to post this, the big virus message box no longer comes up but a smaller sliding box comes up near the tray (clock) saying "Threat Removed" and the details and then the box slides back down & disappears. This is the most unobtrusive setting to still be able to read messages and post here for now until "something gives" (or someone!)...See Morewisconsitom
