More pics from yesterday and today
Comments (11)I wish I had enough of all of these to send gift boxes, but most are new arrivals this spring. Diamond Star Halo had another bloom today and what totally amazes me is that both blossoms have not been splotchy, not even a littlen plus it is very sunfast. Thanks for the kind comments. Beachlily, how close in color was my photo to what you saw in Lambertson's garden? Mine is not quite the same color shown in the catalog. Hope everyone has a wonderful bloom season and posts their pictures here. It is hard for me to find time to answer the posts because they are coming in so fast. I will try to catch up soon. I enjoy them so much. Ann...See MoreMore from today !
Comments (10)Michelle, I haven't ruled anything out except cabbage flower since that's all that anyone suggested. The other pic looked yellow so I had to manuver a little so I could show you. I will look into that. Thanks and do post a pic.. Rita, it very well may be! This is my first year with a bloom and it's ffo so it may brighten up a bit.. Chris, this is the same camera I used last year. Now, I have three and surely can find one that takes true shots. I am going to look into Bubbly. It could be the name! Petalpatsy, I am very fond of Uninhibited!..She a really good double and I have had her for several years and don't remember ever seeing her bloom single. I'm glad your boat floats.. Mary, SDC blooms single for me when she first starts blooming. This year she double right away..Go figure! Must have been the rain.. Nancy, I haven't had SL very long but she is drawing my favor. I really like her!! gonegardening, SL was new for me last year but even then, she did well. This year seems to be an exceptional year for her..PB looks peachy sometimes. I hope she stays a nice pink..You are in the same zone as I, so I am a little surprised you don't have some blooms to share.. Glad to "whet" your appetite though... Lalalandwi, I'm glad you like some of them.. It makes for lots of pleasure if someone else enjoys the pix too!! Thank you all for commenting!!...Ellie...See MoreSome more DLs from today in PA
Comments (12)Thanks everyone for your nice comments. The daylilies are really blooming here now. As you can see, the foliage leaves much to be desired. I tooks some photos today that I will try and post this evening. I am taking a break from working in the garden ( oh, so humid) since it started to rain, but I need to get back to the thistles - hardly any other weeds, just thistles. : ) Jane...See MoreEven more photos from this week's hike...
Comments (10)Thanks everyone! I love composing photos. First, a couple corrections ... The hummingbirds is an Allen's and the yellow mystery flower is an Elderberry. Nola Anne, I have a Canon EOS 60D which is a digital SLR (DSLR) with interchangeable lenses. Jodi-...See MoreTiddisolo Wales UK
