Kay, it's the paludosums that are finished. I have the big rose bed with all of the paludosums in full sun, and right now it is barren. It looks like large dogs have been digging in it. The shadier bed is in its glory now, though. You don't have to lift your irises, but you cannot mulch or put compost on top of the rhizomes or they will rot. After three years or so, it's time to divide them anyway, so if they have gotten a bit buried but they have not rotted you can plant them higher again. My irises look good because I water so much. Some of the other people in the iris society have foliage that is already short and browning, because they don't water in the summer months. I grow so many rebloomers that I have to water if I want flowers. I plant them on little mounds to avoid the mulch and rotting problems. Argentine ants find these perfect spots to raise their young, so I'm always stomping on the soil around my irises. Hoovb, it's been a great spring, except for the balled roses and the aborted iris buds. Everything else looks stellar, especially the pelargoniums. I got my first two pattypan squash today!

Juliet,Yes, I would say that the pic of Pink Lemonade party is true to the actual color. Everyone has an opinion on what the ideal pink color is. My choices from the more recent CV's has been PINK LEMONADE PARTY, APRIL LAQUINTA, NEON FLAMINGO, and PINK ALOHA. I have yet to acquire PINK ALOHA, but I will at some time in the future, and I'm sure I'll discover a few other pinks that have that wonderful bright clear pink color Linda

Oh Lordy, Lordy....how am I ever going to get to the end of my list if you keep posting all these beauties that I don't have? LOL I love SC of course, but that LK just reached out and grabbed me too. LAF is fabulous, I love Emmerich's dl's. I only have No More Tears and Filled To Overflowing right now. Oh, and I was going to make a suggestion that might make it a bit easier for you to keep up with which dl's you've uploaded, etc. I put the date on all mine and when I go through the folder to upload, I choose the all the dl's that have the same date. I may have confused you with this, heck, I think I confused myself...:) anyway, it works for me. Thanks for sharing you beauties. Jan

I like ruffley light colored edges, really sets off a dark daylily. Diamond Star Halo is absolutely stunning.

Oh, Ann, I saw that Diamond Star Halo today at Luddy's. Beautiful! I have it on my list for November--that's when I divide and plant.

I wish I had enough of all of these to send gift boxes, but most are new arrivals this spring. Diamond Star Halo had another bloom today and what totally amazes me is that both blossoms have not been splotchy, not even a littlen plus it is very sunfast. Thanks for the kind comments. Beachlily, how close in color was my photo to what you saw in Lambertson's garden? Mine is not quite the same color shown in the catalog.

Hope everyone has a wonderful bloom season and posts their pictures here. It is hard for me to find time to answer the posts because they are coming in so fast. I will try to catch up soon. I enjoy them so much.
