Chorus Line - bright and perky

Purple Pawprint - where is the purple? I think it had more of a light purple cast last year.

Navajo Princess - I am not sure if this is a keeper or not. It is the second season in the new bed, and doing well, but I prefer flat instead of recurved petals.

Tomorrow I am taking a day off to work in the garden, but it is to be very, very hot so maybe I will get some more tags made so I can be sure what is blooming. Thank goodness for maps.

Beautiful photos Jane! I really like Purple Pawprint, even though it isn't purple. Its form looks perfect and it is a great color too. Does it do well for you? I googled it and couldn't find much info - do you remember where you got it?

Chorus Line has been in my garden for years, and I never tire of it. Yours is gorgeous!
I love your purple paw print, but it looks pink on my monitor.
Awaken With Kisses has such a beautiful form.

Hot and humid in Western PA too. I also grow Condilla and it is such a bright and cheerful flower. Everyone who visits comments on the color. I love it. I saw Fuchsia Dream at a friend's house yesterday and it's a real beauty. Large flower too. I love seeing your pictures Jane. Thanks for sharing them with us. Linda

Jane, you and I seem to have similar tastes. I do, however, really like Unique Purple. We had our landscaping redone and I used it in the front of the house plantings. The man who designed the landscape wanted to use Stella, but I had him use daylilies that I already had such as Unique Purple, some of my Siloams, and two different Broadways. I just bought Willie Lyles this spring and I too have blooms. Of course my plant is much shorter than it will be next year, but I was so pleased that it sent up two scapes. And one has a prolif too! Lovely pictures and flowers. I'm glad to see a photo of Purple Pawprint - it sure looks cute! I received it as a bonus this spring and it should start blooming in another week or two here.

Thanks everyone for your nice comments. The daylilies are really blooming here now. As you can see, the foliage leaves much to be desired. I tooks some photos today that I will try and post this evening. I am taking a break from working in the garden ( oh, so humid) since it started to rain, but I need to get back to the thistles - hardly any other weeds, just thistles. : )

They are all great and your NAVAJO PRINCESS is a beauty. You would not want mine, its a clunker. I think yours is deffinately a keeper!
