Taxodium and Metasequoia Tree Seedling Damage: Is this all from mites?

You are looking at taxodium mucronatum and metasequoia tree seedlings that are approximately 2.5 months old. Both tree species are affected. My oaks are too, but seem to be hardier. I will comment below each pic.

Discoloration, webbing, and dead leaves.

A healthier looking Taxodium

Discoloration even though it's still growing. Webbing.

Webbing, discoloration, and dead leaves on this metasequoia

Discoloration, no dead leaves. Webbing is present.

Discoloration

I have a few others that are healthy looking that also contain webbing. I also have a really healthy metasequoia that I didn't post. I'm not sure why some seedlings are doing well and others aren't.

Is this all due to mite damage, or do any of you suspect other issues, like potential nutrient deficiencies?

Thanks for your help!
