How to edit camera orientation in iPhone 4 video

I'm posting this thread here because I cannot find another more appropriate forum. My apologies in advance if this is the wrong forum. If you can think of a better place to post please let me know.

=====

Please excuse me. I'm really behind the times in terms of smart phones.

I bought a used iPhone 4 not too long ago. This is my first smart phone. Before this I used a flip phone.

Well, I just started shooting short videos with this iPhone.

On Friday I taped a 7-minute video of a band that I went to hear. I
really liked this band. I had never heard them before. They let me get
close to the stage to video them.

However, one of the mistakes I made was when the band leader was
introducing the individual members of his band (this was during their
last song). As is typical in such moments, when an individual member was
introduced, he/she would do a short solo performance amid applause from
the audience.

Well, what I did was whenever an individual band member was doing a solo
I changed the orientation of my camera so that the camera was vertical
(to get the person's full height).

What this means is that when I play the video, and get to the solo acts,
the video is sideways, meaning that the performers are lying down
rather than standing up.

I did not know that this would happen!

My question: Is there a way to edit my video so that the camera orientation is the same throughout the video?

I'm assuming I will have to transfer the video to my computer for any
editing. I have tried e-mailing the video to myself but I get the
following message:

"Video Too Long to Send. Please select a smaller clip from this video."

Any feedback will be highly appreciated!
