Comments (4)When your pineapple plant is fruiting, you should water about the same. Of course, this depends on environmental conditions. Usually, after I harvest my pineapple fruit, the offshoots start to grow about 3 months later. Zone 5 Chicago...See MorePineapple for passageway? Looking for pineapple trimwork.
Comments (1)Contact a local carpenter - especially ones who does trim work. They all get catalogues for ordering special trim pieces. Comments (0)Hello, i have succesefully grown pineapple tops for almost a year now (two cultivars, one is sweet gold found on supermarkets and other is a regional one), No particular method, some dryed before planting, others not, i rooted some in water, planted others right away...works all the ways with a 50% rate for every method more or so... Now that they are getting big i need to put them on their final containers, not planting them on soil so i can put them on the greenhouse for the winter... They need 5-7 gals containers from my research but Since the pineapple roots are very shallow and i'm doing the containers myself, what height and what width should it be? More width than tall right? what whoud you recomend? Double width? i know pineapples from tops take 2 or 3 years to fruit and that the fruit will not be very big, but...the plants will produce slips, so then i can star growing pineapples for real i have a normal garden, and a container garden inside a greenhouse Container garden: 21 pineapples; 15 blueberries (producing); 1 acca sellowiana (flowering); 7 red guavas (2 producing); 10 pomegrenates (young); 26 strawberry guava (yellow, red, purple); 1 jabuticaba (young); 2 purple passionfruit; 3 sweet granadilla (always die summer); 1 banana passionfruit; 2 pitanga (1 red, 1 black); 1 pitangatuba; 1 red jambo; 2 mango trees....need someone for some container tips sometimes... Thanks...See MorePineapple Punch & Pineapple Upside Down Cake
Comments (8)Claudia, just a suggestion but if you start your own thread re ID of your possible PP, more people will likely see it. Sometimes some of the same people don’t return to a thread once they have posted a comment. I’m hoping dhaven comes back to this post to answer you... I answered a question of yours under the GE thread of lecorps but it should have its own thread (to reach as many forum members as possible). Don’t hesitate to create your own ID threads... we like the challenge of trying to ID and it keeps us sharp :-)...See Morenighthawk0911
