Home improvement stores have it and the fittings to connect it to your sprinkler head and PVC supply line. Also there is a web site (www.no-digllc.com)that sells a "Flexline Adator Kit" for exactly this application. Let me know how things work out or if you have any other questions regarding the installation.

Actually, I was wrong when I said these were "rainbird" heads, they're actually "MP3000" rotor heads. Turns out they can't be turned off altogether...only the arc and the radius can be adjusted. Looks like I'll just need to replace this particular head if I want to be able to turn it off...

c, Just my $0.02 worth. It is not advisable to mix plant beds or gardens with with lawn watering. It is not that it is possible, it is, but the watering time for the different areas are very different. You either water your grass correctly and flood your garden or vice versa. That is why they need to be separate zones. Since you have removed 256 sf of lawn your remaining sprinkler heads should able to pick up the remainder. The hard part is getting proper coverage (head location) and isolating the head that will be used for the Garden as a new zone. JMHO Aloha
