Comments (13)Are you planning a wood burning or gas fireplace? If wood burning this one seems like a great option for linear without being too modern - we looked at it but concluded we needed more height (and we're not dealing with the constraint of a t.v. over the fireplace, as we're generally not a fan of that, aesthetically or functionally). http://www.heatilator.com/Products/Longmire-Wood-Fireplace.aspx That said, I would really consider an arrangement as in your first photo, with the t.v. next to the fireplace....See Moreneed help designing tv wall unit...

Comments (3)I had hired people that were supposedly professionals to hang art. I did not know if that was too high. I will have to see if I can hire someone else come back to rehang them. thank you for the advice on the wall pictures. Yes, I have my dining table moved there only bc i am having my kitchen redone and I had to move it away from the dining room. Normally that dining set would not be there, it would be empty.
