Comments (14)Jasdip, my daughter is a classically trained dancer and attended the local high school of the arts. Once she grew out of her Pointe ballerina body, she went into Lyrical, Modern and Commercial dance. While at college in NYC, she worked for the guy who taught Al Pacino to dance the tango in the film Scent of a Woman. He took her under his wing and taught her the Argentine Tango. To this day, it is still her favorite dance. I don't have many photos of her dancing but did find one taken a couple years ago. Comments (10)I love my peonies. Most of them are old ones and it seems that every time they bloom it rains and the heavy flowers flop to the ground. Comments (17)Minjeeah - it's a lily, not sure what kind. I purchased it at a small town (Neepawa) about 100 miles from where I live that is famous for their lilies. They hold a lily festival every year, and the Lily Nook sells many varieties. Lily Nook Jim - love your photos of Green Gables. Anne of Green Gables is one of my favorite books and I'm currently listening to the audio version. DH and I visited there many years ago, which for me was like visiting a shrine! lol!...See More

My favorite dwarf Iris, "Sarah Taylor". I thought I had lost her, but found a piece of it a couple seasons ago and transplanted it to a new spot. Now look at her.
10 years agoI love all these pictures today. Fantastic! I went to the Butterfly Exhibit at Krohn Conservatory today. So much fun!! So many different kinds of butterfly. Amazing stuff!
