Comments (17)Do be careful Bob, "picking up" mushrooms from non-supermarket sources can be dangerous, I'm sure you know that. A quick Google search disclosed that there are a number of poisonous varieties called "false morels". I know nothing more than that. There used to be a middle aged couple in our neighborhood who were very keen mushroom gatherers. It was a hobby that they each had many decades of experience doing. At the right side her knees jut up out of the water. Comments (21)We actually bought it last year when we first moved in. Loved the leaves, thought it died in winter. My dh is the green thumb, and he kept it potted. I started watering it first of spring, and just recently all these flowers busted out. I don't know if I should add it to one of my garden beds we've begun or just keep it potted. But it was certainly a surprise. I didn't have it recorded, since it was one of the first we bought, so I had to search images to see what it was. They are beautiful :)...See More- 9 years ago
