BM Revere Pewter - darker accent match?
Comments (7)You know, if you work with Aura colors, the initial PR on them was that they share a particular tone (iirc it's something about the kind of colorant, but someone like funcolors would know more about that) which coordinates them such that they'll all work with each other, supposedly. The game was to pick any three colors from the deck and you'd be able to make a look with them. That's why they were called "Affinity" colors. You might want to look for tones you like in that set of colors and know that they're 'scientifically' designed to be able to play well together. Hope this maybe helps you become less dazed and confused......See MoreKitchen Paint RH Silver Sage - Next to BM Revere Pewter ??
Comments (1)I love Silver Sage and have it in my home. I don't think the BM Revere Pewter goes with it, at all. Sorry. I think a paint that is more silver may go, but the pewter has too much brown. I'm sorry I can't help you on chosing the right brown/gray because I'm more a pastel person. Colors that I think compliment SS are yellow, pale or bold, red, pink, white, black and some golds and silvers....See MoreCold feet about BM Revere Pewter. Any suggestions?
Comments (8)BM Revere Pewter looked like battleship grey in my very bright dining room. I tested it because it was popular here, but it certainly wasn't the right color for my room or house. Maybe try BM Edgecomb Gray, which is a light greige color that can read cool or warm depending on what you pair it with....See MoreBM Light Pewter with Revere Pewter?
Comments (23)I see brown/green undertones in Revere Pewter; I see gray/brown undertones in Light Pewter Revere Pewter is a beautiful wall color. However, like any paint color, it will be affected by natural light. I have it in my living room/dining, which get east, north and south light and it Is perfect thought the day. You have very little natural light in the basement room, so going light isn’t always the answer. If you have a dark room where you need to have lights on all the time, do something deeper which works with the lighting you have. My experience is darker makes a space look bigger because the corner shadows aren’t as obvious....See Morelwh02
