Help choosing vanity top and tile colors in bathroom

I'm planning a bathroom remodel, and I am not good with design. I've decided on this vanity.

I'm just not sure what color top and tile to go with. My original thought on tile was something like this. but I have hardwood throughout my house, and in person that tile is a bit darker. It makes me think I did a very poor job of color matching to the hardwood in the hallway, so I think I want to go avoid a tile that looks like hardwood.

Honestly, I don't know how to pick colors. I know I want a lighter color top as its not a large room. I don't think I want marble (although if the look worked, I would be fine with it, I just cant picture it.) I don't want laminate, but anything solid surface would be fine, granite, quartz, or similar.

I'm thinking something like a tile on the left (same vanity color as the one I'm getting just different size),

or this as the top. (Ignore the vanity the top is on)

but I think it would look kind of boring with both the tile and top together as Im not sure how all would work together.

Any ideas. I'm open to really just about anything.
