Aboout the break-in- Our alarm was not on in our office! Duh!! Mostly the robbery just made everyone paranoid. My husband is still locking all our doors at home- a first for us, living out in the country with six noisy dogs to scare off strangers. Not too much lost but always brings a feeling of violation. This is a first for us in 12 years there and we are not in a good neighborhood, so we have been fortunate. BTW, the alarm is always on now when we leave! We have not caught the bums but that is probably what they are, bums, excuse me, not being PC here, homeless people, in the area. Thanks for all your support and concern. Well, I just dug a bunch of my brugs, with the help of my grandson, Nathan. I'm leaving Adeline to bloom, since I only had two so far, and she had 12 buds on her- getting some color today. I AM OLDIE HERE HAVN'T POSTED SINCE 2001 Stacie,(girlsingardens),I wouldn't mind doing some trading. I am looking for some carnation's and some old handkerchiefs, some vintage linens,styrophome balls. I have a lot of items also. I could box up. I am in the works of redoing my craft room and also formal dining room. I have been doing this since Christmas when hubby got me some shelfs, looking good I do say so my self. We looked and one set of the shelfs is a different kind and is not holding up like the othere's so now I will have to take everthing off these 5 shelfs and redo it. That shelf is going in gargage. Now I have been in a neck brace for 2 weeks and have 4-6 more weeks with this I would love to do some trading. Just let me know ok.

Teacats - Thanks for posting a pic. I really love all the white in your kitchen! Powermuffin - I've considered different colors. I love Frenchkitty's kitchen and thought about yellow at one point but I don't think I'd like it in my kitchen. Her floors are gorgeous and the whole thing has lots of great detail. Tina - I had my Dad cut out the corner cabinet panel and put the metal screen in. I honestly wouldn't want anymore doors showing through though because then I'll have to be neat behind then, lol. Could always do frosted glass I guess. I love Reno's island too! I didn't discover CL until after we bought appliances. Not so long ago someone was selling all their stainless appliances for a heck of a deal. Usually you just see a piece here or there. Homebodymom - You'll have to let us know when you take the plunge with yours. Maple will look much nicer painted than oak which is another thing I'm concerned about. Jan - Oh, I remember seeing your kitchen before and I love it!! I really like the whole set up how the cabinets are broke up nice. Do you happen to know the paint color or any other info about it? I guess it does sound funny that I'm ok with black appliances and creamy cabinets but unsure of the cream color with white. I'll have to buy a few popular white/cream samples and try to limit myself with that. Paint huge pieces of poster board and hang them around the kitchen for awhile. Anyone know how to photoshop cabinets? A visual would really help me with this one. I tried using the fill feature in photobucket but it goes way out of the lines and isn't working well.
