I was also thinking to shorten and move the Bartop away from wall to create a walkway into kitchen from other side but not sure how that will flow? Ideas and or criticism will be greatly appreciated.

No ideas? I'll wait and see what the kitchen designer has in mind. I'm thinking it may change a lot.

Part of the problem is that we need more information. For example, we need a fully measured layout of the space - the widths of each window/wall/door/doorway and the distances b/w each window/wall/door/doorway. In addition, we need more information about you and your family and your plans for the kitchen. All this is information and more are described in the Layout Help FAQ. I'll post a link below. It's also linked in the "New to Kitchens? Read me first!" thread that is usually on the first page (occasionally, the second page). I'll link to that as well. Thanks Romy and Buehl! Pardon my etiquette, whew no wonder I've gone unnoticed. :-(

Specs of the kitchen is 21ft long and 15ft Wide or 19ft wide to the edge of the pantry. There are two windows that both measure 3ft wide and 4ft tall with 10ft ceilings. I have 4 children, hubby, and my mother whom will be living in the house. I cook and bake all the time, so the kitchen is one element of the home that I am most excited about. My mom cooks also, during breakfast and dinner we are often in the kitchen cooking at the same time but she's preparing a much healthier version (whole food, organic, gluten-free type of gal, lol). Therefore a spacious kitchen and a large range top 48" is very important.

I am unsure of the dimensions the designer drew of the island but that is up for change if need be.

The all refrigerator and freezer that will be used in the kitchen combined measures 64" wide and 79" tall with trim kit.(Not shown on drawing). Double oven and microwave. I want to avoid using a drawer microwave if possible.

Is this a new build or a remodel? I'm asking b/c that will make a difference with what you can do.

So, where are you flexible? Can walls, doors/doorways, and windows be changed (modified, removed, moved)? Please keep in mind that the less flexible you are, the less we can do for you.

Overall, the labels are too blurry to easily read.

Based on your description, It sounds like you need two Prep Zones -both with access to the rangetop and oven(s).

Are you planning seating at the island? I'm asking b/c the only place there's room for seating in your current plan is at the "top" of the island. There isn't enough aisle space on the other three sides - plus you really shouldn't have seating on a working aisle if you can possibly avoid it.

At the very least, the island needs to be changed - move the sink to one end and lengthen it, if needed, to provide you with a decent amount of workspace.

I'd also move the sinks and range top around a bit.

Would you be willing to have at least a short wall b/w the Kitchen and Family Room? With the large amount of space being devoted to refrigeration and the wall ovens, you're limiting your self to some extent.

Would you be willing to get rid of the peninsula and have a longer island instead? That would give you some additional wall space b/w the kitchen and Family Room.

Is that the ovens in the lower right corner? That's not a very good place for them - they will create a black hole in the corner and they will be difficult to access - plus to ensure everything can open fully, you will need at least 3" of filler on the right wall b/w the cabinets on the bottom and the oven cabinet and probably closer to 6" to 9" on the bottom b/w the oven cabinet and the cabinets on the bottom. Is that a blind cabinet in the lower right corner? They're probably the least useful cabinets out there - I would rather void out the corner than put in a blind corner. You appear to have plenty of cabinet and pantry space, so nixing the blind corner should not cause a hardship. If you are willing to change the entire layout, the whole corner issue can be fixed. That's where the question about flexibility comes in - what can we change?

I'm just throwing out ideas - I don't know which you will be willing to consider.

Could you please post the measurements for the items marked in the picture below? All of these are important. Yes, there are a lot, but you have a lot of odd angles that need to be accounted for. Something to think about - circular and/or angled walls, cabinets, & counters add significantly to the cost of each item.

Thanks for the great info, I knew it seemed a lil unbalanced but could not figure out what or why? It is new construction, so everything is flexible at this point. I am working on getting the dimensions and will chime back in.
