Xmas cactus leaves are reddish

Anthony .

After blooming this past Christmas, I put the pot in my storage room where the temp seldom gets past the 60 degree mark. I water it once a week or so and just noticed now that the days are getting longer that the newer leaves as you will see in the photo, are reddish. Is this normal? Is it reddish cause its flowering are red? Or is there something that its lacking? Otherwise, it looks healthy. BTW, I know the soil looks dry, but its due its usual watering tomorrow and this photo was taken at night.
