How much water is it receiving? Looks healthy fo me. Look on underside of yellowing leaves for any black dots, which could indicate the start of a fungal disease called black spot. You can remove those leaves & any fallen leaves below the rose. to prevent the spores from reinfecting the plant. Also apply mulch around your roses. This helps prevent fungal spores found naturally in the soil from splashing upward when it rains or you water. The mulch also acts as a weed block and decreases watering requirements by keeping the soil below moist. Use about a 3” layer. Don’t pile the mulch against the canes either.

Some suggestions for zone 5: Don't cut roses back in the Fall; cut them back to perfectly healthy wood (white centers on the cut surface of the cane) just before growth begins in the spring. Not doing this is one major cause of failure with roses in cold climates. Second cause of failure is planting on low ground where water collects from melting snow in the winter. Are your roses planted on the higher parts of a sloping site? If you don't think either improper pruning or poor drainage is the problem, then you might try more winter hardy roses, such as any of the Canadian Explorer series (see link). Rose photos are not showing. Please try to post them again. I guessing here. Sounds like you are using one of the Bayer combo products. Many of us here do NOT recommend those 3-in-one products--often they give the rose much more than it needs. Certainly, if you were not having problems with fungus or with insects, your roses did not need an insecticide or a fungicide. And some posters have noted that the "feed" part--the fertilizer--might be too strong. I'm guessing your roses are suffering from too much nitrogen--nitrogen-burn. All you can do now is give them a good deep watering to try to wash away some of the effects of the nitrogen and then wait patiently for the rose to put out some new leaves. The other possibility that occurs to me is you have a severe spider mite problem. They are so small that you may not see them, but often there will be some telltale webs around parts of the roses. In that case, the cure is relatively easy. Use a stiff spray of water from your hose and give those roses a thorough shower, in particular spraying up underneath the leaves. Repeat this process one or more times every few days. After a week or so of such treatment, the spider mites should be gone (They hate water.). Good luck. Kate

IT looks okay. Do not over fertilize, you will "kill it with kindness". Read and follow all package directions on fertilizer--they have directions for a reason. In looking at your photos, it appears one thing your rose has to deal with is reflected heat from the stucco walls close to the plant. Go out when the sun has been shining on the walls for a while and stand next to them--you will feel reflected heat. It is not comfortable for you, and it isn't comfortable for the plant, either. Roses can handle some reflected heat once they have established themselves in the ground. The plant's performance in that spot will improve once it has a chance to grow some roots, but that does not happen instantly, it may take two or three years depending on the cultivar and the climate conditions.
