If worms then yes, that's a very good thing. They gently aerate your soil, feed the lawn by processing off organics, and are fun to watch in rain. Not only is no intervention required, none is recommended. High worm populations are a great thing for lawns and gardens. I've spent a fair bit of time, money, and energy getting my worm populations up.

Help... I've been treating the dozens of trumpet vine spouts that come up all over my yard as though they were weeds... It seems to be harming the mother vine ....and now I'm being sued for maliciously harming her plant. It's true, I'm using "remedy" which is a strong herbicide...and I apply it a few inches down into the soil..I try to confine the herbicide to the trumpet vine root by using plastic baggies... HELP! What do you all think?

Kimmsr's suggestion will probably be the most successful because it is non-selective and will pretty well stop everything that is trying to grow that you have covered. The product I think you are looking for is called Preen. You apply it to the soil and it kills many broadleaf and grass weeds when they germinate. It will not stop perennial weeds already established, such as quackgrass, and it does not harm some annual weeds, so they will grow right through it. It does not harm established perennial flowers/landscape plants you may have, but may kill any annuals you plant as seeds into treated soil unless they are of a plant family that is tolerant of the herbicide. You could use it with mulch as added insurance.

+1 for drop spreaders! I hate sweeping... Morpheus likes to use milorganite as a carrier for powders. Basically just dump a bag of Milo into a wheelbarrow, spritz with just enough water to make the powder stick & mix with a shovel, then put it in your spreader & spread your Milo with the powder attached.
