Comments (16)I can tell you why people over 30 might get upset for being carded -- my DH (he's 48) got carded last year when he ordered a beer at a restaurant. He's bald, some white hair, out of shape and definitely looks his age. We were there with our two kids -- 11 and 12 years old. The waitress looked to be a very young college student and refused to serve my DH because he didn't have his wallet with him and she couldn't verify his age! He laughed about it, but it was kind of frustrating that she actually thought he was that young. I liked the one about the underwear ... ... for those who've been around for a while, I think that possibly there should be a litle tag in some of my underwear that reads "4 - 6" ... ... as an indication of its age? By the way some of the elastic girdles that I'd made way back when are getting a bit the worse for wear.
