Maybe Olive Branch, or Dry Sage. I am currently working finding a shade of green for my basement. I just learned of Dry Sage so I need to try a sample of that. From online pics I am on the fence so we will see! Forewarning, anything green or yellow is SUPER hard to figure out, dont be discouraged with how long it takes, and dont settle for one you dont like otherwise you will just have to repaint it in the future anyhow! Also, stay away from bold/bright colors with green or yellow. Green is a mix of yellow and blue. If you have warm lights (yellow) then the green will be more green. The fluorescence lighting they use in a lot of stores are too bright and the wrong color. It adversely affects how the swatch looks both in color and in brightness. Brown = warm Yellow = warm Blue = cool Your brown/gold countertop would complement a green that is warmer. Hope this helps! Edit: Pic below is BM olive branch. So My Perfect Color is going to be making some money off this one. :) Here's what I shall try today: BM Baby Turtle (515) at 50%, BM Dried Parsley (522) plus 50%, BM Abingdon Putty (maybe green is too hard?). AND...I will take it to my local guys to be color matched. They are pretty fantastic so I am sure they can come up with something. I wish I could mix the Grasshopper and the Dried Parsley because really that's what the lighter green lining the edges of the paisleys looks like. So frustrating. Just to give you an idea of what the wallpaper looks like in real life (quite different than it looks on my monitor), the main body color is somewhere between BM Ivy League and Baby Turtle. Closer to Ivy League, I guess. Htnspz: We are thinking sleek and clean (modern-ish?))with a nod to traditional to keep it from being so square, too neutral and...boring. It will be a challenge, but -- in my mind -- the wallpaper is so traditional that it feels fresh and modern. But I could be really, sadly wrong. I am totally open to opinions on this issue. We used SW Svelte Sage and Grassland in our last house and loved the sage green of them both. They went well with our cooler colors--soft smoke gray was our overall color. In our new house, we wanted that kind of green again but needed it to be warmer. What worked for us this time is SW Avenue Tan (don't let "tan" mislead you--not tan at all).

I have been racking my brain to figure out a color to suggest for your walls. Have you given any thought to shades of brown? Maybe a gray brown that doesn't read green? I am not sure about your home but I have a color brainstorm bronze that might fit the bill. He it is in a south facing room along with north facing light. I really do love it. It can read very differently depending on how much light is in the room and what from what direction the light is coming (west, east north etc). Also it depends on lamps and overhead lights etc. Here is a photo of an accent wall. I think this would be truer to color than my overly bright south facing only room. It is along the wall of windows and also on the island. Here is a photo that inspired me. I think several of the colors on the bottom of this page will work to cozy up your space as well, yet serve as neutrals.
