Have you used the area for wine drinking with 4 people? How did it go? Did everyone have a place to set their glasses down and was there a place to set a cheese board or palate cleanser of some sort? You must know as a wine connoisseur that you can't display wine upright like that because the corks will dry out and the wine will spoil after a while... always at an 90 degree.

You don't drink any other booze? No whiskey drinkers allowed? How about a just a general bar area if so?

The wood wine boxes are not necessary to keep but it might be interesting to build some shelves out of them so they serve a purpose.... or maybe clad one wall in the room with the wood sliding box covers?

I wouldn't decorate with wine or wine packaging unless this is a sample area in a commercial wine shop with proper storage of product elsewhere. Review how to store wine (temperature, humidity, position, light exposure) and you'll likely 86 this nook.

Yes, I agree it looks disjointed. Maybe dump the wine nook because we have a bourbon bar. Ordered additional furniture for the bar. Not sure what to do with the space.

I need context and for sure IMO not formal chairs in a very industraial looking wine storage area. Wine first and foremost needs temp. controlled storage and for sure when storing large amounts of wine. Wine boxes are not decor and for sure not that many. Get a good wine fridge with 2 temps that is where you start. Add a nice taller table with stools unless you only ever want to be in there by yourself. Show us the whole area where this is in the home please. Post more pics here in comments DO NOT start another post .

i’ve added several photos. Please excuse the mess. We’re trying to get the house ready for our sons wedding. This is the space where everyone will be congregating after the rehearsal dinner. And wedding. The bar area does have a wine rack, which is posted in the last picture. I am really open to any type of constructive criticism and ideas. The wedding is June 1, thank you!

Move your air hockey table to where you have the dead cow skin on the floor. Move the brown table and chairs to the area where you have the wine nook thing going on. Move the little round table that is currently on top of the dead cow skin to where the air hockey table (or whatever that is) currently is. Install the bookshelves in your garage or where your brown table and chairs are if they fit. You can probably disassemble part of the shelves to make them fit.
