Need Green paint suggestions: Carrara Bathroom

We have a newly remodeled bathroom that is white beadboard, subway, hex floor and carrara counter. Vanity is white as well. I am looking for a nice green color for the walls that will work with the Carrara but one that is not too cool as the hallway walls will be BM Linen.

Hi! Just above your post and to the right at the top of the page, click on *Gallery*. There's a thread called *Greens* that shows a lot of pics and paint color names.

A citrus green that would look stunning with what you describe is SW Celery. It's crisp and fresh, it's the perfect match to a fresh light aqua. We did our powder room in it and it's really a lovely color.

I hadn't thought of doing it that way - in any case, I don't know what color rug/towels to use, either! I got some paint samples over the weekend and will try to post photos of the tiles and samples together.

Warning - this is an old post! @juddgirl2 - i was wondering if you would post post photos of your bathroom/bedroom. I’m trying to finalize things fir my master bathroom/master bathroom renovation and would love to see what colors you chose. I’m planning on using Mapei Warm Gray for my carrara marble - your Custom Platinum looks nice though! Hmmm … . What grout color did you use for your slate floors? My slate tile has been installed - will be grouted soon. I am pretty sure that I know which color grout I’m using - just would love to see whatever you did just in case I like it better! 😆 Also, I’m thinking about purchasing some porcelain blue shams/throw from Pottery Barn to use as an accent color in my bedroom. Quiet Moments is one of my top choices for paint - did you wind up selecting it or Chelsea Gray? Wow - it looks like I’m stalking you!

I like a soft gray grout with cararra especially on the floor where a white grout gets grubby no matter how clean you are so that should work . I think Mountainscape is a pretty color but IMO an actual color might be nice with all the cararra to brige the whites

With that very dark wall, you will have a hard time reading your samples. You can prime the walls first, and then try much larger samples. You'll want to prime them anyway, to get good coverage over the dark color.

We used SW Svelte Sage and Grassland in our last house and loved the sage green of them both. They went well with our cooler colors--soft smoke gray was our overall color. In our new house, we wanted that kind of green again but needed it to be warmer. What worked for us this time is SW Avenue Tan (don't let "tan" mislead you--not tan at all).
