Impossible to find a good sectional

I have a nice sectional now that I bought from a high end furniture store. It's nice but the seating area is so shallow that when I lie down on it my arm/shoulder halfway fall off of the side and it's really, really uncomfortable.
I've looked at Dania, Kasala, Ikea, boutique stores in Seattle and even Wayfair and I can't find a decent leather sectional that has a reasonably deep seating area. One ideally with cushions on the back that can be removed. Am I missing something here? Is there somewhere else I should look?

Wow, that's not a plug for your website at all. Sorry, but I'm not buying from Wellington's.

Does anyone not trying to be slimy and get me to visit their website have any suggestions for me. I'm hoping the forum isn't now filled with spam.

It’s unfortunate that you have taken offense to me adding a
helpful shopping tip for leather furniture shoppers. Omnia Leather would be a good company for you
to look at and they offer deep seats on several of their styles. They are made in America and price really well
for the quality. But I don’t think they
will price as low as Ikea's price, not sure about the other names you mentioned.

Our goal is to fit into the conversation not
distract. We
love being a part of this furniture community and would never do anything to jeopardize
our relationship with this forum.

Thanks for the feedback. My preference is for a stationary sectional with a traditional look (nothing modern), don't need recliners and want firm cushions due to back issues...I attached a photo of my current couch. It took me 8 months to find the Broyhill and thought we found a gem with the firm Duracoil cushions. This was our 3rd Broyhill and we still have a leather couch that we love and the other one lasted 17 years with a houseful of kids. Broyhill has gone way downhill and the Duracoil technology is a bust! The thought of picking out another couch makes me cringe...off to Pilgrim tonight. We might go with something in leather.

I had checked out their website already and it sounds good. I just want to make sure that it's a quality product and not one of those "you get what you pay for" things. Have you gotten your sofa yet and are you happy with it? What about the quality of the fabric and the feel of the cushions? I want a sofa that is pretty cushy and I was going to upgrade to the down option. Please let me know your impressions - it would be really helpful. I was also researching a sofa from Carolinachair.com. They seem to have a little bit better quality and better fabric choices, but the sofa I want is also about $2,000 more and I don't know that it's worth spending the extra money. Any input is appreciated.

That is the only living space in the house. It's a townhouse we're renting for a year or two. We sacrificed on space to be close to the beach, which has been an awesome choice, until Irma, of course. We don't have any other "real" furniture for the living area, and we wanted to avoid purchasing anything until we bought a home, but when the old sofa had to go, we had to replace that. So we don't have any other seating, but it's really not a big deal. We don't have kids or family in the area, and we don't have a bunch of people over at one time, so the sectional is enough for our current needs. Is there anything in particular you would suggest for ottomans? I would like something that fits physically with the sofa to get something close to a chaise feel without having to close off the space permanently as you would with a chaise. Finding the right size is important too, as I dislike the really big ottomans for sectionals; they take up way too much space and prevent the use of a coffee table.

"Breaking the Bank" is not a term anyone can work with. You should define your budget as a realistic dollar range you are willing to spend. As a retailer, I don't know what your budget is and as such can't make a recommendation since I have sectionals in all price ranges. Also, consider posting photos of your space from two different angles into the room as those show the style and decor of the room, plus window and door positions.

Wellington's does give good helpful advice. You may want to look at Bradington Young, Classic Leather, Elite Leather if you are wanting a contemporary, model look. Henredon & Century also have some nice leather sectionals.
