Really you need to go shopping I would never buy a sofa without sitting on it unless it was in aspace for show only. BTW affordable is any ones guess.

There is a West Elm and Crate and Barrel close to here. I was just seeing if anyone had an suggestions I hadn't thought of.

You can get an estimate, but by the time all is said and done, you would probably have spent just as much money as buying new. I would also comment that you would get more seating if you went with a 3 cushion sofa and two chairs. Looks like a nice space!

"Breaking the Bank" is not a term anyone can work with. You should define your budget as a realistic dollar range you are willing to spend. As a retailer, I don't know what your budget is and as such can't make a recommendation since I have sectionals in all price ranges. Also, consider posting photos of your space from two different angles into the room as those show the style and decor of the room, plus window and door positions.

Looking to spend around $2k or so, i don't think a sofa is worth much more than that. Paying $7k or $8k for a sofa is not worth it in my opinion.

I don't think you will find a good quality sectional at that price. How many years do you want the sofa to last? If you want to change it in 2-3 years, then you could go with something cheaper. The problems start to show with the cushions..they don't last.

Try West Elm or CB2. Room and Board has some nice and most probably good quality sofas, but they are above 2k in that size
