I think if I re-work the room this way it might fit better. I'm not sure abut a chaise-sectional because I worry it won't be comfortable to sit on the chaise side and look at the fire: This room is used the most in the fall & winter. I was thinking sectional sofa because it would give space for laying down and sitting. When we have people over, it's nice to have a conversation grouping but when it's just us and the dog a sectional seems like it allows for more lazy lounging. I like the look of this, it just needs to swap which side gets the long versus short piece: So it would be a corner + 1 arm chair piece + 1 loveseat piece. I need to find out if these pieces can fit into the dimensions on the plan (sectional on the floor plan is 6' by 7'8", or 72" x 92"). I like the corner piece on this style because it has a teeny bit of leg room. I don't think it's enough leg room that someone would sit there and hang their legs down, but if you are sitting on either side of the corner you aren't fighting for foot space as much. I think/hope it works out that way, at least.

DH and I walked into our regular furniture store and there was a sectional I fell in love with. The color (sage green) the style, the fabric, but not the price. We were somewhat very very broke at the time. It was so very expensive, at least to me. I sat on it, ran my fingers over it and did everything but drool on it and left it there and thought about it every so often. On my birthday later that year, I came home and in my living room, rather small I might add, there was the beautiful sectional. I couldn't have been more surprised if Ed McMahon was standing in my living room holding a big check. Seven birthdays later, it's just recently my second favorite furniture piece, now after my new "grownup" bedroom set. Even though it's large there is a lot of seating. There is less wasted room I think than by having a couch, loveseat and chairs.

I don't really see anything wrong with the furniture but I would remove the outdated huge TV cupboard and buy a long console to put the TV on. It will completely update the look of your room. The desk behind the couch has a very different style and doesn't fit in style or color, and neither does the chair. Get a narrow console and find nicer lamps to put there. These look clumsy somehow. Sorry, don't mean to sound negative about your very nice room, but just want it to fulfill its potential. With these changes the room will also look larger and give it breathing room.

Older thread - I found this thread because I was looking for honest comments about COCOCO Home. I assume others in my situation will also stumble upon it. First, please know that the following is not intended to be a judgment re: the quality (or lack thereof) of furniture offered by COCOCO Home. I have no personal knowledge/information on this business. I am still researching several possible sources for two leather (requested by my SO) accent chairs for the hearth area in my kitchen. The only ”experience” I have re: leather furniture is one purchase made many years ago (Lillian August leather wingback chair + ottoman w downfilled cushions - which still looks great). The only reason I’m adding a comment is to call out the comment right above mine from 5 months ago. It appears to be very suspect. Based upon the content, I decided to look at the user: this is the ONLY activity @77norman77 has on Houzz. No ideas/inspiration photos saved + no other posts/comments. It just appears to contain way too many details that a typical review by a customer would not have. Also, not only did the user specifically address the areas re: construction that would typically be ”attacked” when discussing whether a sofa is of good quality, the user added more information basically ”defending” COCOCO’s choice to use construction practices that are considered ”sub-par” by high end furniture makers (for example, using plywood instead of real hardwood + a separately installed pocket coil suspension instead of integrated 8 way hand tied coils). I only know about these areas of construction because I am a bit “OCD” about researching information + reading many reviews prior to making larger purchases (it drives my SO crazy - it’s actually kind of debilitating because sometimes it becomes very difficult for me to actually pull the trigger on actually making a purchase). If the above post was made by an actual unbiased customer, I apologize for questioning your motives. I’ve just read so many reviews over the past few days where customers have spent significant (“significant” = what a reasonably knowledgeable Houzz user would consider to be a large amount of $ spent on a couch - not what Houzz professionals would consider significant - very different!) sums of money on sofas/sectionals/accent chairs, only to be very disappointed at the lack of quality after a few months of use. I don’t want the above comment to influence someone’s purchase when it sounds much more like an advertisement than an actual customer review.
