red spruce, septic drain field, your thoughts

I know...you probably saw the title of this thread and rolled your eyes. But I really do value your opinions, so please read on.

I'm in northern NJ, where red spruce do not hit their full 80-100ft growth. They average 40-60ft in my area. They also have a very slow growing, shallow rooted, fibrous root system.
With that being said, I want to plant one exactly 15 feet past the END of my drain field. My drain field is about 40 ft long...my entire front yard, and is on a slope (previous homeowner put a 5 bedroom septic in for our 3 bedroom house...sweet deal).

The end of the field is drier as you would imagine. There is also a rock wall that goes two feet or so underground between the end of the drain field and the planting area.

So with these specific circumstances, is this a reasonable decision or will I be kicking myself in 20 years? Red Spruce aren't exactly known for invading septics..but maybe that's because they are uncommon.

Will gladly provide a picture of the area upon request.
As always, thanks for taking the time.
