This is the one I use. Tuna Casserole 1 (16 ounce) package uncooked pasta shells 2 (6 ounce) cans tuna, drained 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom (or chicken) soup 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup 1 1/4 cups milk 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 teaspoon crushed garlic 4 slices processed American cheese 1 1/2 cups crushed potato chips Boil pasta in lightly salted water for 10 minutes, or until al dente; drain well. Return the pasta to the pot it was cooked in. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F Spray a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish with cooking spray. Mix tuna with cream of soups, milk, salt, black pepper, and garlic in a medium saucepan. Place pan over medium low heat, and heat through. Alternatively, place these ingredients in a microwave safe dish, and warm in the microwave. Mix tuna mixture with pasta. Spread 1/2 of the noodles into the prepared dish. Arrange the cheese slices over the noodles, then spread the remaining noodle mixture over the cheese. Top with crushed potato chips. Bake, uncovered, for 20 to 30 minutes; cook until the casserole is hot, and the chips begin to brown. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Sue

You can also go to Allrecipes(allrecipes.com)and use the recipe box there. You can add recipes from the site or add recipes from other sites. Even add your own. You have to sign up for an account, it's free(although they want you to become a member)and only takes a minute.

I used to use MasterCook. But now just copy and paste a recipe or type one in a Word document and save to my portable drive, similar to lisbet saving to CDs. Each category has its own folder and then other folders within the main category folder; for example, I have a main folder labeled Sweets, inside that folder is a folder for Cakes and within that folder is a folder for Cakes from Scratch, Cakes from Mixes, Cheese, Fruit. Then there are other folders within the Sweets folder: Pies (and within that a folder each for Cream, Fruit, Nut, etc. In the Vegetable folder, there are individual folders for Beans, Peas, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Eggplant, Crucifers, etc. You get the idea. Though this sounds cumbersome, it really isn't once the folders are set up, and it makes it very easy for me to locate a recipe.

Two suggestions: 1) If these were files you created (and not downloaded), some programs show recently opened files when you click on File, Open, or even just File from the menu bar. Or, 2) The files may have landed in a different folder than where you're looking. Start Windows Explorer (choose following a right click on the start button), then highlight C: or Local Drive in the left column, then do a search for the file by putting in some or all of the file's name in the upper right box and then Enter. I don't think most users who visit here for problem solving know what a command line is. Chkdsk is similarly unlikely to provide useful information or fix the problem.
